World of Water Watford. February 2014.

GRP Lining Services are the exclusive contractor for fibreglassing work with Dixons Landscapes who are working with the World of water franchise.

Dixons asked us to fibreglass a stock tank at the store ready for the 2014 season.

Here's a video of the final process of the grp lining system called flowcoat.

Sorry there's no narration but I don't do 'how to' instructional videos.  The resin is far more complex to apply than a simple pond paint and obviously far more durable.

Commercial activities.

We've fibreglassed thousands of square metres of commercial projects over the years ranging from colossal water features to emergency repair work and roofing projects.  The commercial website is here www.commercial-fibreglassing.co.uk

Here's a project from this week which has somewhat bizarrely led to myself and my assistant being under quarantine from visiting ANY place in the UK that contains cloven hoofed animals for the next three days.

We sealed this autoclave bund in a virus research facility with a 3mm chemical resistant grp system.

The blockwork gives an indicator how small this project is at 15 square metres yet we won the job over and above local firms tendering for the work at the site that involved a 300 mile round trip for us.

And just around the corner from this job is the fantastic Devonshire Square in Central London where we sealed this water feature back in 2008.

Here are a couple of photos of myself applying the grp at Devonshire Square.

Historical photos.

Not all the photos we take of our work make it onto the website simply because the website would become absolutely enormous!

Here's a link to nearly 500 photos of various projects all over the UK we've taken over the years.  Again, this is not an exhaustive list and are here as reference and examples of the variety of work we've done.

Doncaster koi pond completion.

Another update this time from Doncaster.  This gorgeous koi pond has featured on the scrolling banner on our website for a long time and was showcased before it was even finished.

The build process has been meticulous to say the least!  Every piece of stone that was used to build the surrounding walls was placed (often several times) lovingly by hand and eyed in by a true craftsman.

The pond owner was particularly complimentary about our service as you'll see here Testimonial

Here's the result of several years of dedication towards building the koi pond of his dreams.  Again it's a true testament to our product and level of service to be trusted to work on such a project.

I'll be sure to make a point of calling in to see the finished job next time we're working in the area. Great pond I'm sure you'll agree!

Fantastic indoor pool.

Customers often send us photos showing the progress of the project they trusted us to work on and here's a fantastic project in central London.

The pool is approximately 4 metres long, a metre wide and 250mm deep. Seen here bottom right of the image.

The stepping stone in the centre acts as a walkway to another room.

And the view under night lighting.
